Seahaven Hard of Hearing Club

Description

We are a friendly club, appealing to (but not exclusively) retired people, providing a monthly social afternoon for those with hearing difficulties.

We meet on the first Friday of each month, 2.15pm-4pm at St James' Trust, Blatchington Road, Seaford.  We have a variety of visitors who come along to give an interesting talk or presentation and have other activities throughout the year, including at least one summer outing. We have a 'used' book table, raffle and refreshments . Transport from the local area (accessible mini bus) may be available at a small additional cost.  Come and join us!  Please contact Pauline on 01323 895216 for more information.

We also run lip reading classes at St James Trust, Blatchington Road on Tuesday mornings, 10am-11.45am. Small friendly group, run on 5/6 week term basis, at a very reasonable cost - start when you like! Come along to a taster session (available at the beginning of each term).  Cost of the classes includes membership the the Hard of Hearing Club - Great for confidence building - don't be isolated!  Please contact Jenny on 01273 585339 for more information.
