Grange House Care Home is a converted vicarage in lovely grounds within a residential area that specialises in the care of adults of all ages who are living with early stage dementia or other mental health disorders.

The home is furnished to a high standard throughout and has a lovely terrace for our residents to use safely as well as a sensory snug and two additional lounge areas.

At Grange House care home, our staff not only provide excellent care but also ensure that the social needs of our residents are met whilst encouraging them to make decisions pertaining to their own care.

We want our residents to feel a part of the home and be actively involved in its running - above all we want them to enjoy life at Grange House. Our focus on providing regular activities ensures that all residents lead an active and interesting life.

We encourage individuals at the Home to fulfil their potential and lead an active life as part of the community. We ensure that individuals can participate in activities of their choice on a daily basis, as part of a group or as an individual. Aside from the daily programme we have weekly events from external groups e.g. singers.

All our staff are trained to support individuals living with dementia and have an understanding of the emotional support required. They are able to utilise a range of listening and communication skills to build up a trusting relationships that provides each resident with security and familiarity.
