East Sussex Motor Neurone Disease Association

We provide care, help, advice and assistance to those living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in the East Sussex area

The Group has a team of trained Association Visitors who offer a befriending role providing support, information, and an ongoing link with the Motor Neurone Disease Association to people living with MND.

We can provide practical support in the form of liaison with health and social care professionals such as speech and language therapists, and the medical profession.

We can provide specialist equipment to improve the quality of life of all those affected by the disease.

We hold regular get togethers for carers and people living with MND. These meetings are very informal and are a time for socialising with people living with the disease and those dedicated to helping and supporting them. They offer people the chance to chat and exchange information, experiences and ideas over a cup of tea or coffee.

People living with MND and their carers are especially welcome at our Support Group Meetings which are generally held at Church End, 1 Cockshut Road, Lewes.
