Description: Sussex Community Counselling Sussex Community Counselling offers a range of accessible counselling:

Low cost counselling

We provide an accessible, confidential, affordable service within the local community, supporting adults (16+) who are feeling low, worried or distressed for many reasons including depression, anxiety, physical difficulties, life events, loneliness and isolation. Short-term, low cost counselling is currently offered in Newhaven, Lewes, Hailsham and Eastbourne. The service is available by self, GP or other health professional referral.

The Haven Project which offered counselling support to individuals who have been raped, sexually abused, or have experienced sexual violence, is no longer funded, however individuals who would have accessed this service are welcome to access the low-cost service described above

'You Talk, We Listen' Listening Service (Youth Counselling)

A free confidential listening service for young people which runs as part of the Youth Drop-in at Denton Island Community Centre in Newhaven offering access to professional counselling practitioners experienced in working with young adults. Young people can self-refer: referrals are also accepted from other professionals with the young person’s agreement. This service is available in the Havens area only.
