Befriending & Forget-me-not Services

Description

Befriending & Forget-me-not are two of our most important services for older people in Eastbourne.

Our Befriending service offers a regular visitor to give friendship and support to isolated older people who are unable
to leave their home.

Forget-me-not is a telephone befriending service that provides a regular contact call to brighten the day of an isolated older person.

They offer long-term support to lonely, frail or housebound older people, who live alone and do not have family or friends living nearby. The service provides care and friendship through a phone call or visit, to share a cup of tea and a chat.
