Bendigo Nursing Home is registered for the provision of nursing and personal care. The service ensures effective, safe and appropriate, personalised care, treatment and support through coordinated assessment, planning and deliver. The people who use the service or those acting on their behalf are enabled to make informed decisions prior to care and treatment.

The home is situated in the Upperton residential area of Eastbourne, approximately 15 minutes walk from the town centre with its variety of shops, facilities, surgeries, library, GP surgeries and dental practices.

The home is a character building accessible by a passenger lift to all floors and is accessible by a wheelchair throughout the building and into the beautiful gardens. Accommodations are tastefully and fully furnished. Individuals are encouraged to bring personal belongings and make their rooms familiar and homely. The rooms are equipped with nurse call system to enable residents to call for assistance at any time, hydraulic and electrical beds, specialised mattresses, washing and toileting facilities and a TV. The home also has a number of facilities and equipment available for people with restricted mobility and high dependency needs such as Parker and Invacare hoisting baths and shower/wet rooms, Oxford and Invacare hoists. The care and service is provided by qualified and experienced nursing and care staff.

The primary aim of Bendigo Nursing Home is to provide care to all its service users to a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of good and safe care practice, expertise and skills. It is a fundamental ethos that those service users who live in the home should be able to do so in accordance with the home's philosophy of care and values.
