Phoenix Centre - Day Care

Description

The Day Care service is for adults aged approximately 55 and over living with:

  • Dementia / Alzheimers
  • the effects of a stroke
  • A learning disability
  • Low level mental health issues
  • Long term health conditions

Supported by a team of experienced Care Officers, offering personal care if needed. A vast range of activities to suit all needs, which prevent isolation and increases a client's physical and mental health well being. The centre is safe and secure, has a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere and a kitchen preparing delicious and healthy lunches and snacks.

We offer:

  • Company and laughter
  • Toileting assistance
  • Assistance with eating and medication
  • Fun activities, such as ballroom dancing, Creative Writing workshop, Art therapy, pottery and flower arranging
  • An opportunity to socialise with others
  • Support and respite to families and carers.


Our day service is flexible and includes:

  • Hourly stays - inclusive of any activity
  • Half day care - inclusive lunch, personal care and activities
  • Full day care - inclusive lunch, personal care and activities


The Centre is open 9.00am till 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and most bank holidays, with the exception of Christmas and New Years’ Day.
