Description

Forest Lodge is a large Edwardian country house in Nutley near Uckfield, East Sussex. The house, which has been tastefully extended, is set in eight acres of safe, landscaped gardens.

It specialises in the care of older people who are mentally frail with confusion, Dementia or Alzheimer's disease, the staff team is skilled in this specialist care.The staff are also able to provide reminiscence therapy, physiotherapy and provide short or long-term respite care.

Our aim is to provide a home that offers a safe, comfortable environment with support and stimulation to help service users maximise their potential physical, intellectual, emotional and social capacity. 

The friendly and homely atmosphere we have created ensures that service users are able to continue their lifestyle with personal privacy and dignity. In the peace and tranquillity of our lovely home and gardens, services users are supported by a high standard of care provision.

The house has single and shared rooms, many with en-suite WC facilities. All rooms have been individually designed and decorated and are furnished comfortably. In addition, there are three spacious lounges, a large airy dining room, two purpose-built activity rooms and a specially built and enclosed sensory garden.

Forest Lodge also has two reminiscence areas which are very popular including a country store and cafe area.
