St. Rita's is one of three purpose-built state-of-the-art care homes located in the grounds of St. George’s Park. The home offers the best in modern facilities combined with the traditional principles of care which has been offered by the Augustinian Sisters at St. George’s since 1868. The rooms are all a very generous 20 square metres with spacious en-suites which include level access showers, ideal for wheelchairs

The home is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers superb views across the 250 acres of gardens and farmlands. We have a variety of livestock including alpacas, water buffalo, sheep and cattle, all of which are accessible via an extensive wheelchair friendly footpath network within the estate.

It also has a quiet room where residents can spend time in the tranquil atmosphere reading or other quiet activities without television or radios.

St. Rita's has its own Activities Organisers who work with the residents to ensure that there are varied and interesting options available.

The Sisters oversee the care homes taking an active part in the day to day running and pastoral care of the residents. The home is supported by outside health professionals and the local GP visits on a weekly basis.
