We are qualified, experienced young people’s counsellors from the Young People’s Centre, who are trained in online counselling.

Please note: E-motion is not a crises or emergency service

Counselling allows you to talk about your problems and feelings in a safe supportive and private space.

A counsellor is trained to listen with empathy (by putting themselves in your shoes). They can help you deal with any negative thoughts and feelings that you have.

Who is this for?

E-motion is for anyone who is 12 – 18 yrs old and living in East Sussex and has access to a computer or smart phone.

  • Ever thought about having counselling but are worried about seeing someone face to face?
  • Can’t get to counselling every week?
  • Off school or college and need a bit of extra support?
  • Don’t want anyone to know you’re having counselling?
  • Or just want to give it a try?

How we work

We will listen to you and provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can express your thoughts and feelings, and you can expect to be heard, understood and accepted without being judged.

We won’t be telling you what to do or giving advice as we aim to work together on your concerns, empowering you to help yourself to find better ways of managing your situation, finding your own solutions or making some changes.

Whatever your reasons for getting in touch we’re happy to be there for you…And it costs absolutely nothing!
