I have experience in supporting individuals of all ages with mental health diagnoses including dementia. However, I would be happy to offer support to older people who do not have a mental health diagnosis. I can provide support with personal care if required.

I would be happy to provide regular respite for carers. I am an animal lover so pets are not problematical.

30+ years experience of supporting individuals of all ages with mental health diagnoses including dementia.

Many of my working years were spent within the services for older adults, but I also have extensive experience in supporting people of all ages with mental health diagnoses.

For the last five years of his life, I helped to care for my father. This included personal care. I understand the demands placed upon those who care for frail older relatives and the need for regular respite time.

I place great emphasis on respect and dignity as well as valuing each person as an individual. My aim is to empower those with whom I work to live as independently as possible and to maintain excellent and timely communication with families and carers if necessary.
