BHT Brighton Advice Centre

Description

BHT’s Brighton Advice Centre works throughout Brighton & Hove and provides the following services:

  • Specialist Housing Advice -  specialist housing advice team are able to provide free and confidential advice to people on possession action, homelessness, suitability of accommodation, tenancy rights, disrepair and allocations policies
  • Court Duty Scheme -  provides last-minute emergency advice for people facing eviction who have a court hearing
  • Webcam Advice Service -  offers specialist advice on housing and benefits issues from a computer, tablet or smartphone. The service provides advice through the internet using Skype or any other digital means that suit our clients.
  • Immigration Legal Service - provides advice and representation, under the Legal Aid scheme, in all areas of asylum and human rights law relating to Article 3 of the ECHR
