Davigdor Lodge Rest Home
Davigdor Lodge Rest Home offers placements to 18 year olds or over with past or present mental health difficulties. Accommodations are available in 25 single rooms across 5 floors. We promote independence and we recognise that privacy is important. You will have your own room, some with en-suite facilities.
The staff team at Davigdor Lodge will work closely with the other professionals involved in your care and support, including your consultant psychiatrist, your care coordinator, CPN and social worker. This is usually accomplished through participation in the care programme approach.
Some of the activities available:
- Computer and Internet access
- Ten pin bowling
- Table Tennis
- Walks to local shops and parks
- Trips to local markets
- Music appreciation
- Relaxation groups
Davigdor Lodge is not registered to detain people under the Mental Health Act but if you are 'sectioned' it may still be possible to come to Davigdor Lodge. Some people come here on 'leave' from their section. If you think this might apply to you, please talk to your care coordinator, social worker or psychiatrist.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is a non-departmental public body established to regulate and inspect health and social care services in England.
Their role is to check whether hospitals, care homes, GPs, dentists, and care services delivered in your home are meeting national standards to be respected, involved in your care and support, and told what is happening at every stage.
