Banardo's Brighton & Hove Link Plus Home Support Services


The Service promotes good quality care and inclusive activities for young people, supporting families of disabled young people by enabling parents to take a regular break from their caring responsibilities.  For a limited number of disabled children and young people we provide full-time care. Services may vary from a few hours per month to 20 or more hours per week.

Specialist services

  • We provide Short Breaks for disabled children and young people in their Carer's home.
  • We provide Home Support Workers to support disabled children and their siblings in their own home or in the local community.
  • Contract carers have been recruited to work with children and young people on the autistic spectrum and/or with challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent links with a range of health professionals and agencies to enable us to tailor our service to the specific needs of young people.
  • Specialist training and support available to carers.
