Deaf Outreach Service

Description

The Deaf Outreach Service is a full-length bus which visits rural areas throughout East Sussex on a regular basis. The bus is equipped with assistive devices including doorbells with flashing lights, amplified phones, textphones, smoke alarms etc. Members of staff from the East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre and Social Services will be on hand to give advice and information on all aspects of deafness.

Use of this service is FREE and there is no selling.

Working in partnership with ASC.

Our current Outreach vehicle CLIVE (Community & Learning Information VEhicle) has been provided by the National Lottery, Big Lottery Fund for which we are very grateful.
