Grangemead is a hotel-style emergency respite service for people with learning disabilities.Each bedroom has been individually designed.

Located in the town of Hailsham, we are close to local shops and we have our own transport for accessing all local amenities.

We have a dedicated, experienced, and qualified staff team who are here to make your stay both safe and pleasurable; including a chef who provides an ever changing menu for each main meal.

 You can have a break, a holiday or somewhere nice to stay in an extreme time of need.

Activities on offer include, gardens, terraces and courtyards for eating out relaxing and outdoor games, arts and crafts, beauty / manicure sessions, TVs with DVD players in every room, themed nights, and in-house cookery and living skills learning opportunities.

There is always a lot happening in our communal rooms but we also have peaceful areas for guests who prefer a quiet environment.

Tailored to you and what you want, we are a place to meet old friends and make new ones, as well as a place that can give you the opportunity to try new things and be part of a local community.
