Non-emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS)

Description

NEPTS provides transport for all eligible patients who are registered with a GP in Sussex and who are not able to use public or other transport due to their medical condition. 

This service is free and available for residents of Sussex who are registered with a Sussex GP and reside East Sussex.

NEPTS is available for patients traveling

  • To a planned outpatient appointment
  • To hospital for a planned admission
  • Home from hospital following your discharge
  • Home to Sussex from hospitals in other areas of the country

Healthcare professionals at your GP surgery or clinic can book your transport via our online booking portal 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days a year

Or you can book yourself. For your first booking please call the Central Booking Line:

  • Monday to Saturday 07:00 - 20:00
  • Sundays and Bank Holidays 08:00 - 17:00
