Healthwatch East Sussex

Description

Healthwatch is the local watchdog for health and social care services in East Sussex. It is the independent consumer champion created to gather and represent the views of the public on issues relating to health and social care.  Healthwatch plays a role at both a national and local level, ensuring that the views of the public and people who use services are taken into account.

We also provide a complaints advocacy service via our partner organisation SEAP to support people who make a complaint about health services. Healthwatch East Sussex can also report concerns about the quality of health and social care provision to Healthwatch England, who can then recommend that the Care Quality Commission take action.
