Carers Groups - Eastbourne

Description

Join us to meet other carers, talk about issues that are important to you, and hear from speakers on a wide range of matters. No need book a place at any of the groups, carers can just turn up.

Information and Advice group

Care for the Carers' Information and Advice groups are regular meetings for all carers, facilitated by Carer Support Workers.

Meetings are twice a month on
  • 1st Monday of the month, 10.30am -11.30am
  • 3rd Monday of the month, 10.30am – 12.30pm

Each group meeting follows the same basic format: the first half of the meeting gives you time to have a cuppa and a chat with other carers, and in the second half a guest speaker will join the meeting, bringing with them useful information and advice.

Following each meeting, the Carer Support Worker will also be available should you wish to discuss any worries or concerns.

Carers Wellbeing Group

Carers Wellbeing Groups are regular informal drop-in groups for all carers, with input at some groups from carer support workers, in several locations across East Sussex.  These are usually the ‘next step’ groups for carers after they have been attending Information and Advice Groups for 12 months.

Meetings are held 4th Tuesday of the month 6pm - 8pm

Evening carers group - Eastbourne

If you find it harder to attend one of our daytime carers groups, why not come along to an evening group?.

Meetings are on 4th Tuesday of each month from 6pm to 8pm
