Samaritans - Brighton, Hove and District

Samaritans provide a confidential emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

If you'd like to talk to someone face-to-face in a quiet, private space, we'll welcome you at our local branch.

We're open every day:

  • Monday 10am – 10pm
  • Tuesday 10am – 2pm, 8pm – 10pm
  • Wednesday 10am – 10pm
  • Thursday 10am – 10pm
  • Friday 10am – 10pm
  • Saturday 2pm – 10pm
  • Sunday 10am – 10pm

Talk to us in your own way, and off the record – about whatever’s getting to you. You don’t have to be suicidal.

There's no pressure and no judgement from us, and no 'right' or 'wrong' thing you can say. You don't even have tell us your name if you don't want to.

We keep our conversations private, so we can't pass the information you give us onto anyone else and we won't judge or insist on giving advice.
