Children of Addicted Parents (COAP)

Description

Online Community

You are not alone…

COAP supports an online community for young people, ranging from 7 to 30 years of age, that have concerns (no matter how big or small they may be) about another family member's addiction.

Whether it’s substance abuse, gambling, or anorexia; together our online community supports and empowers its members, allowing them to share problems and seek advice from others who understand what they’re going through.

Sign up for free with an anonymous username, and start sharing your stories and replying to other people's posts. COAP also provides up to 18 sessions of free Online Counselling for any young UK residents aged 11 to 24 years old, affected by someone else’s addiction.

Our Vision:

Every young person affected by parental and family drug and alcohol abuse, or any other form of addictive behaviour, can connect with others in similar situations, and access the help they need to support their emotional wellbeing.
