Description

MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans, and queer people.

We work to improve the mental health and wellbeing of LGBTQ communities and to make mental health a community concern. All MindOut services are confidential, independent and impartial.

The support we offer includes

When we are online, you can contact one of our Online Support Workers in confidence for instant chat. We also have The MindOut Trans and Non-Binary online support.

Our Peer Support Groups in Brighton are for LGBTQ people who want to meet and share with others their feelings and experiences of mental health and wellbeing. They are facilitated by experienced LGBTQ group workers.We aim to provide a place to meet where it is safe to identify as LGB&T and as having mental health concerns.

In 2017 we helped 1,342 people struggling with social isolation, suicidal distress, financial hardship, discrimination and prejudice, hate crime and exclusion.
