Hope Kitchen - Hastings
Hope Kitchen is a soup kitchen in the centre of Hastings.
We are open Thursday and Saturday evenings, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and welcome anyone over 18 to have some soup and sandwiches, a hot drink and a chat. On Saturday evenings we are joined by volunteers for St John Ambulance Homeless service. They offer advice
and treatment for health related issues and usually have a trained nurse on duty.
Our aim is to provide a warm, dry and safe place to have something to eat and drink but also to offer advice and support in a welcoming and friendly environment.
Some of our guests are homeless and many are poorly housed or sofa-surfing. We know that many struggle with alcohol and drug misuse and live with physical and mental health problems.
As well as listening we can advise on where further help can be obtained for these issues and we have good links with other local agencies.
