AskSARA is a guided advice tool developed by national charity the Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) to help people find solutions to their daily living problems which can help them live more independently.

Once visitng their website, just choose the topic for which you require advice or products for. When you have responded to the questions a personal report will be created for you. The report contains useful advice written by occupational therapists as well as details of products that might help you from a database that aims to include every product on the market.

Examples of popular products which you may be interested in include:

  • Bath lifts
  • Stair lifts
  • Seating
  • Kitchen products
  • Shower adaptations
  • and many more available!

After viewing your report, you can go back to answer more topics, print the report out or email the report to yourself or a friend.

East Sussex County Council would recommend that you contact the East Sussex Disability Association  ESDA for further information and advice on products which AskSARA recommends and also for opportunities to meet with Occupational Therapists and test out the equipment:
