Our vision is of a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their life and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice is a local charity providing skilled and compassionate care and treatment for people living with a life-limiting illness.

  • Complementary therapy - The complementary therapy service offers a variety of treatments as part of the holistic care available at St Wilfrid's.
  • Clinical nurse specialists - Our Clinical Nurse Specialists are experts who provide in-hospice care as well as care and support across our catchment area
  • Social work and family support - When somebody is seriously ill, normal routines and ways of doing things often change, which can be difficult to cope with. we're here to help with that
  • Care at home - Care, compassion and patient-facing at all turns - the Care at Home team is essential to getting closer to families and service users across East Sussex
  • Wellbeing - Managing pain, breathlessness, lack of appetite or dealing with fears, financial worries or family issues is tough. The hospice Wellbeing team can help you
  • Spiritual support - Spiritual support at St Wilfrid's offers a listening ear, a supportive presence and overall spiritual care to help your overall wellbeing
  • Family, friends and carers - Carers are hard working and need support. We're here to provide that.
  • Respite - St Wilfrid’s Hospice can help carers find temporary, short term care for people with life-limiting conditions and their carers, to help families and partners take a break from caring
  • 24/7 Nurse Line - Day or night, you can call us for advice, support or reassurance from one of our experienced nurses
  • Hospice at Home - The Hospice at Home team provides expert nursing care in patients' own homes for people who prefer to remain in the comfort of their own home.
  • Our in-patient unit - The in-patient unit is a warm, inviting space which allows people to be together with privacy and dignity while getting the support they need
     

We provide hospice care to the communities of Eastbourne, Pevensey, Seaford, Heathfield, Uckfield, and everywhere in between
