Headway East Sussex

Headway East Sussex (formerly known as Headway Hurstwood Park) offers rehabilitation and support services for people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers. A brain injury can result from many different causes including stroke, accident, tumour, sporting injury or assault.

We provide an outreach and day centre service, offering tailored rehabilitation and reablement programmes, as well as a variety of advice and support services to those affected across the whole of East Sussex including Brighton and Hove and parts of West Sussex.

We’re aware that an acquired brain injury can instantly change someone’s life and that, generally in the community, people don’t understand how significant this is – people look the same and therefore the assumption is that they should be the same!

So, please contact us if you would like:

  • Emotional support - counselling service
  • Practical advice and information
  • Signposting to other relevant organisations
  • More information about our services
  • To arrange a visit by appointment or to be visited at home
  • A neuro-physio gym assessment
