Threeways Nursing Home

Description

Threeways enables elderly people to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their needs.

All residents are assured that they will be treated with respect and dignity according to their individual needs and wishes.

We are pleased to accept residents for long term, short term, convalescence and holiday stays. We predominantly offer nursing care. However, we have four rooms which offer residential care and are for service users requiring personal care only.

We are able to supply specialised moving and handling equipment, pressure mattresses and cushions.  We also have specialist shower and bathing facilities offering a Jacuzzi bath if required.

The daily care programme is organised as a response to residents’ individual and combined needs:

  • At Threeways we provide meals which enable residents, where possible, to decide what, where and when they eat.
  • We offer a programme of leisure activities from which to choose
  • We help residents to retain flexibility in their daily routines so that they, to some extent, manage their own timetables whilst fitting into communal timetables as well.
  • We respond to residents intellectual, artistic and spiritual values and practices of every resident
  • We respect our residents religious, ethnic and cultural diversity
  • We encourage them to make new friends, have personal liaisons and enjoy communicating with existing friends.
