Sussex Pathways

Description

Sussex Pathways is a social mentoring scheme training and supporting volunteers to empower offenders to make positive life choices, by supporting their resettlement back into the community. We help ease the transition from custody to the community and give offenders a reason to live rather than exist.

We offer a range of voluntary positions to suit different interests, all in relation to the transition prisoners face from custody to the community.

Our primary aim is to reduce the risk of re-offending by facilitating, encouraging and supporting the engagement of offenders with specialist agencies in the community to overcome underlying problems, and work towards rehabilitation.
