Samaritans

Description

Samaritans is available 24 hours a day to provide emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide.

Talk to us any time you like, in your own way, and off the record – about whatever’s getting to you. You don’t have to be suicidal. We’re here for you, whatever your age.

There's no pressure and no judgement from us, and no 'right' or 'wrong' thing you can say. You don't even have tell us your name if you don't want to.

We keep our conversations private, so we can't pass the information you give us onto anyone else and we won't judge or insist on giving advice.

If you prefer, you can email or write to us:sometimes writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you understand them better.

If you'd like to talk to someone face-to-face in a quiet, private space, we'll welcome you at our local branch.
