Bexhill Gateway Club

Description

We are at the Youth and Community Centre every Monday evening from 6.30—9pm (closed in August)

We have approximately 100 members ranging from 16 to 81, each week we can average about 50.

All members pay £1.00 per week subs and in return they get a cup of tea and a biscuit,

We have disco’s quiz nights, bingo, games evenings, entertainment, pool competitions and sports in the lower hall.

Every year we hope to have one full day outing. Over the years we have been to
Chatham Dockyard,  Chessington World of Adventure, Thorpe Park, Drusillas, Poulton’s Park, Bentley Wildfowl and Lego Land.

We are invited annually to “It’s a K.O” run by the Lions at St Bede’s School, Lower Dicker. We try to enter two teams

We go out for a Christmas Dinner to Azur.  We also go to the pantomime in Eastbourne.

We are a totally voluntary, and as with all groups we are always looking for volunteers and funds.
