The National Deaf Children's Society - South East support
Description
NDCS aims to empower deaf children, young people and their families to determine what happens in their lives and shape the services they receive.
We provide clear, balanced information and support for families of deaf children, deaf young people and professionals working with them.
Regional Family Officers provide information and support to families on an individual basis and can also refer enquirers to specialist staff including audiologists, benefits appeals advisors, educational appeals advisors, and a technology manager.
NDCS also provides free printed publications for members on a wide range of issues surrounding childhood deafness.
Membership is free of charge and gives full access to all areas of the website as well as other benefits, including events for families, deaf children and young people up to age 19.
