Relaxation Therapy

I run guided relaxation therapy for individuals suffering from neurological conditions.

I use guided relaxation techniques such as:

  • Autogenic
  • Colour
  • Visual imagery
  • Deep breathing relaxation

Key goals in relaxation therapy is to help individuals lower stress levels, and connect with their inner self and how they physically and mentally feel.

I encourage patients / clients to bring relaxation strategies to their daily life in a way that best suits their needs – giving oneself permission for ‘time out’.

Please contact me for further information.

Accreditation Information

The Health and Care Professions Council regulates health and care professionals in the UK and were set up to protect the public. This means that health and care professionals registered with HCPC are genuine and meet national standards. This offers you protection if professionals fail to meet these standards. The HSPC
  • sets standards for registrants' education and training, professional skills, conduct, performance and ethics
  • keeps a register of professionals who meet those standards
  • approves programmes which professionals must complete to register with HCPC
  • takes action when professionals on the Register do not meet their standards
  • maintains a list of protected professional titles – only those on the register can use a protected title.
It is a criminal offence for someone to claim that they are registered with the HCPC when they are not, or to use a protected title that they are not entitled to use.

You can check the HCPC register to see if someone is registered.
