Sussex Arts Therapy

Explore, Express, Reflect and Heal with Melody, Sussex Arts Therapist.

Art therapy can offer a safe place to explore difficult thoughts, emotions, ideas and relationships through the use of art materials. My work with individuals does not seek to directly interpret artwork, but to work together in exploring and understand it.

You do not need to be good at art or have any experience.

I offer individual and group sessions in East and West Sussex.

Accreditation Information

The Health and Care Professions Council regulates health and care professionals in the UK and were set up to protect the public. This means that health and care professionals registered with HCPC are genuine and meet national standards. This offers you protection if professionals fail to meet these standards. The HSPC
  • sets standards for registrants' education and training, professional skills, conduct, performance and ethics
  • keeps a register of professionals who meet those standards
  • approves programmes which professionals must complete to register with HCPC
  • takes action when professionals on the Register do not meet their standards
  • maintains a list of protected professional titles – only those on the register can use a protected title.
It is a criminal offence for someone to claim that they are registered with the HCPC when they are not, or to use a protected title that they are not entitled to use.

You can check the HCPC register to see if someone is registered.
