Friends Families and Travellers - FFT

Friends, Families and Travellers is a small national charity that works on behalf of Gypsies, Travellers and Roma.

Our overarching aim is to end racism and discrimination against Gypsies and Travellers, whatever their ethnicity, culture or background, whether settled or mobile, and to protect the right to pursue a nomadic way of life.

We currently run an assertive outreach service across Sussex, the purpose of which is to help Gypsies and Travellers access mainstream health, social care and other support services.

We offer general advocacy and support but are also providing support around mental health and wellbeing, as well as providing outreach and support for health improvement.

This includes facilitating training for Gypsies and Travellers to gain their RSPH level 1 and 2 Health Awareness Training.
