Applewood Residential Home

Description

Applewood is a small residential home for adults with learning disabilities, other disabilities, and autism, many of whom have sight loss.

Applewood has a large shared lounge, kitchen and conservatory, and an accessible garden.

We don’t underestimate people. We encourage people with disabilities to challenge what they expect from life, from themselves and from wider society.

SeeAbility has the one of the country’s most comprehensive in-house team of specialists, ensuring our approach is person-centred and expert-led, based on positive behaviour support. The team includes consultant behaviour analysts, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, optometrists, and vision rehabilitation workers.

While our Specialist Support Team provides personalised and proactive interventions, our skilled support workers are trained to apply this expertise in everyday contexts.
