Oak Lodge is a purpose built bungalow, a residential home for adults with physical and learning disabilities and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
All individuals have their own personalised bedroom and share a communal kitchen/ diner and spacious lounge.
Oak Lodge is fully wheelchair accessible to meet the needs of Service Users with physical disabilities as the home is situated on the ground floor. Both the bathroom and shower room are fully fitted wet rooms with adapted bathing and showering facilities to meet physical needs.
Staff are trained in manual handling, epilepsy and medication administration. They have experience in end of life care. Service users are their priority and are always supported to engage with the local community and to take part in a wide variety of activities
Service Users are also able to access and enjoy the fenced courtyard and wheelchair accessible spacious gardens
Oak Lodge also has its own specially adapted vehicle.
